Mount Bromo itself can be reached by foot in 45 minutes from here and jeeps can be arranged just outside the hotel. Rooms at the Lava View Lodge are simple and spacious with bungalows available for larger groups and families. Food served at the restaurant is mainly Indonesian fare, with some European options for fussy palates. The area of Lava View Lodge is a tranquil, quiet place and the views of Mount Bromo are unbeatable.
