April 23 –  Saraswati – Special day of thanks for the gift of Knowledge
April 27 -  Pagerwesi – Special day for meditation to enhance balance in the world

June (Mid)  -  Bali Art Festival XXXIII – Exhibitions and Art Performances at Bali Art Center, Denpasar, until Mid July

July 6 – Galungan – Praying for the victory of virtue (Dharma) upon evil (Adharma)

July 18 - Kuningan – Believed to be the ascendant day of ancestral holy spirits and deities, back to the eternity

August 17 – Indonesia Independence Day – A public holiday throughout Indonesia

September – Temple Celebrations – all prominent temples in Bali feature celebrations throughout September, including at Kuta, Sanur, Ubud and Denpasar

October – Ubud Writers and Readers Festival – Goes off for five days every year in October and sees dozens of writers from several countries gather, culminating in one of the best events of its type in the country
