NEW KUTA GOLF

The New Kuta Golf Course is located on the west coast lime stone cliffs of the Bukit Peninsula and not far from Dreamland beach and Balangan Beach. It takes around 20 minutes from the Kuta area to get here.

By the way these beaches are one of the most gorgeous beaches in this southern part of Bali and I won’t be surprised if you just kept staring at the beach instead of playing your round of golf.

The 18-hole Bali golf course (par 72) is designed by Ronald Fream, David Dale & Kevin Ramsey and comprises of 85 hectares. Their unique selling point obviously is the view from the cliffs but the course can be treacherous. Since this part of Bali together with the Tulamben area are the hottest places on the island you have to be extra alert while playing here. It looks like the roof is on fire here…

Luckily your golf cart is stocked with a cool box and on holes 6 and 15 there is “the shelter”, which provides you with cool drinks and snacks too. If you can’t handle it anymore you can always head over to the Link Restaurant that serves a variety of Indonesian dishes with a view on hole 18 and the putting green. The New Kuta Golf club also has a golf shop, golf equipment rental service (both left and right handers) and a spa to come back to your senses again.
